Newsela takes authentic, real world content from trusted sources and makes it instruction ready for K-12 classrooms. Texts are published at five reading levels, so content is accessible to every learner. Content is aligned to standards and has activities, such as quizzes and resources.  Progress monitoring in the Binder provides visibility into what students are learning. With more than 15,000 texts and multiple new texts published daily across 20+ genres, Newsela has the content to help educators fill the gaps in their core materials and spark student interest. There are now videos, fiction text, and poetry available.
